Ross and Ryan Wiley were born and raised in Memphis, TN. While attending ECS, they developed an interest in production through the theater department and began helping out with the audio for chapel services at school and their local church. In the early 2000s, While obtaining degrees for literature and philosophy respectively at the University of Memphis, the pair began working as “night guys” at Ardent Studios, an entry level position granting them access to learning studio production alongside live production.

Ryan worked at Ardent Music LLC for several years as an engineer, primarily assisting the talented group of producer/engineers there who worked on professional projects from all over the world and for their internal label Ardent Records. Following graduation, he attended the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law and was licensed to practice law in 2009. From 2009 to 2016, he practiced mostly in the area of criminal defense, but began providing part time services to Ardent Music during 2015. From 2016 to January 2018, Ryan was the general manager of Ardent Music. From 2018 to 2023, Ryan was an assistant public defender. From 2006 to the present, Ryan has served as both audio engineer and bass player at First Evangelical Church.
Following graduation, Ross continued to work part-time in audio production, including working as a music intern for Independent Presbyterian Church’s choral program. In the Fall of 2013, he moved to re-enter production full-time, working freelance for ProShow Systems, Nolan’s AV, and others. In Spring 2020 he moved to Montgomery, AL to be the Production Manager for B.B. King’s. Returning to Memphis the next fall, he began freelance work again with ProductionOne, providing A1 support for the Halloran Centre, Bartlett Performing Arts Centre, and other venues.
